Is this switch certified for DC at all? What voltage? Does it have a data sheet? Can't find it on Berker's site either.

The components of the Berker Integro series are intended for use in the AC mains. For this reason, these switches only have voltage and current ratings for use with 230 V AC.
A switch for DC must be designed differently as one for AC, because when switching DC, an arc (spark) can occur between the switching contacts. In an AC application, this arc will extinguish during the zero crossing, i.e. during the polarity change of the sinusoidal AC voltage. (50 Hz mains alternating frequency means 100 zero crossings per second, poor conditions for an arc!) In a DC application there is no polarity change or zero crossing. Therefore, it must be ensured that with a corresponding load either no arcing can occur or that the contact distance is so large that the arc breaks reliably. Since it is not possible to change the contact distance in a finished switch, the only option is to reduce the load on the switch. If you search the www for something about this, maybe you will find, this at CARLINGTEC: "For those switches that list an AC voltage rating only, the "DC Rule of Thumb" can be applied for determining the switch's maximum DC current rating. This "rule" states the highest amperage on the switch should perform satisfactorily up to 30 volts DC. For example, a switch which is rated at 10A 250VAC; 15A 125VAC; 3/4HP 125-250VAC, will be likely to perform satisfactorily at 15 amps up to 30 volts DC (VDC)".
So, be careful when using AC switches in DC applications and keep in mind that you must not thoughtlessly orientate yourself on the AC ratings of a switch in a DC application. If not, you are literally playing with fire!
